These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "user") and StyleCast LLC ("StyleCast," "we," "us," or "our") governing your use of the StyleCast mobile application and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using StyleCast, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your country to form a binding agreement), and that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you are using StyleCast on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
StyleCast is a mobile application that provides AI-powered fashion and style assistance, including but not limited to:
Outfit recommendations based on live weather data · Trip packing list generation · Occasion and event styling suggestions · Color season and wardrobe analysis · AI style chat · Outfit journaling · Text-to-speech narration of style advice
The Service is available on iOS (via the Apple App Store) and Android (via Google Play). Certain features are available only with an active paid subscription.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with or without notice, and we will not be liable to you or any third party for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
StyleCast offers free and premium subscription tiers. Premium features are unlocked through an in-app subscription purchase processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) through their respective platforms.
Billed monthly. Auto-renews each month until cancelled.
Billed once per year. Auto-renews annually until cancelled.
Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Your payment method on file with Apple or Google will be charged upon renewal.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (iOS) or Google Play subscriptions (Android). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to premium features until then. Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.
Free trial: If a free trial is offered, it will be described at the time of purchase. Unused trial time is forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial ends.
Refunds: All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. StyleCast does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds. All refund requests must be submitted to Apple (via reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google (via Google Play support). Refunds are subject to Apple's and Google's respective refund policies.
Prices are subject to change. We will provide reasonable notice of pricing changes through the app or the applicable app store listing. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
StyleCast uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic Claude) to generate outfit suggestions, packing recommendations, style advice, and other content. You acknowledge and agree that:
AI recommendations are suggestions only. All outfit, style, and fashion recommendations provided by StyleCast are generated by AI and are intended for informational and entertainment purposes. They do not constitute professional styling, fashion, or personal shopping advice.
AI-generated content may not always be accurate, appropriate for your specific situation, or reflective of current trends. StyleCast makes no representation or warranty that any recommendation will meet your expectations or be suitable for any particular purpose.
You are solely responsible for your own purchasing and styling decisions. StyleCast is not liable for any dissatisfaction with outfits assembled based on app recommendations, or for any financial decisions made in reliance on the Service.
AI outputs can occasionally be unexpected or nonsensical. You agree not to rely on StyleCast's AI recommendations for any decision where accuracy is critical.
You agree to use StyleCast only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for all activity conducted through the app on your device.
The following uses are strictly prohibited:
Using the Service to violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
Circumventing subscription paywalls or accessing premium features without a valid subscription
Using the Service to train or develop competing AI models or datasets
Transmitting harmful, offensive, or unlawful content through any input fields in the app
Interfering with or disrupting the integrity of the Service or its third-party integrations
Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity
We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the Service if you violate these Terms.
The StyleCast app, including its name, logo, design, code, text, graphics, and all other content created by StyleCast, is owned by StyleCast LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership right in the Service.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use StyleCast on your personal device solely for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
Your content: Wardrobe photos and journal entries you create within the app remain yours. Because this data is stored locally on your device and not transmitted to StyleCast, we make no claim of ownership over your personal content.
AI output: Recommendations and text generated by the AI in response to your prompts are provided to you for personal use. We do not claim copyright in AI-generated outputs, but we do not represent that such outputs are free of third-party intellectual property claims.
StyleCast integrates with third-party services including Anthropic, OpenWeatherMap, ElevenLabs, and RevenueCat. Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and policies of these third parties. StyleCast is not responsible for the practices, content, or reliability of any third-party service.
The Service may include links to third-party websites or services. Such links are provided for convenience only. StyleCast does not endorse and is not responsible for the content of any linked third-party site.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, STYLECAST LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.
We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that it will be available at any particular time or location, that any errors will be corrected, or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components. Weather data accuracy is dependent on third-party providers and is provided without warranty of any kind.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL STYLECAST LLC, ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL STYLECAST LLC'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless StyleCast LLC and its members, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights; or (c) any content you submit through the app that causes harm to a third party.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. You may opt out of arbitration for a dispute by notifying us in writing within 30 days of the dispute arising.
Class action waiver: You agree that disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only, and you waive any right to bring a class action or participate in a class-wide arbitration.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration.
These Terms are effective until terminated. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app from your device. StyleCast may, in its sole discretion, terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. All locally stored data will remain on your device until you delete the app. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimer of warranties, limitation of liability, and governing law) will remain in effect.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page and may provide additional notice within the app for material changes. Your continued use of StyleCast after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and uninstall the app.
